Catahoula Parish School District Holds Educational Forum

The Catahoula Parish School District held an Educational Forum on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 6:00 P.M., at the Harrisonburg First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  This annual event, funded by The Rapides Foundation, spotlighted Catahoula Parish Schools’ accomplishments related specifically to the Effective Schools Grant Initiative and the Cenla WorkReady Network.  Guests included teachers, students, parents, community members, business representatives, administrators, board members, and Louisiana Department of Education staff members.  A delicious meal was enjoyed by all participants, followed by a program led by Superintendent Gwile Paul Freeman.  Spotlights from each school were presented by school personnel and students. The event was enjoyable and informative.  The Catahoula Parish School District is appreciative of assistance offered through The Rapides Foundation Initiatives.
